Author Giles Ramsay presents at Audley Clapham

Author guest speaker event at Nightingale Place

At Audley Nightingale Place in Clapham, we recently hosted author and guest lecturer Giles Ramsay. Giles wrote a book on the history of the theatre called
FROM GODS TO BAD BOYS: A HISTORY OF THEATRE IN TWELVE LIVES. On 13th November Giles joined homeowners and the team at our Clapham retirement village to present on the life and works of Oscar Wilde.

Approximately 25 people were in attendance, enjoying the talk followed by a delicious three-course meal in No3 Clapham restaurant that evening.

"We were all enraptured with Giles' delivery, sense of humour, and seemingly infinite knowledge of one of the world's most renowned playwrights and poets."

Grant Egan, Sales Consultant at Audley Nightingale Place

The overwhelming feedback from guests was "Get Giles back!"

The Nightingale Place team looks forward to welcoming Giles back in the spring for a second lecture on William Shakespeare.
