A Day Out to Audley Redwood

In January, the team at Audley St George’s Place organised a wonderful trip for owners to visit Audley Redwood, located just outside Bristol.

The journey itself was part of the experience, with stops at the renowned Gloucester Services, known for their farmshop-style atmosphere. These pitstops provided the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing coffee break before continuing our journey. Upon arrival at Audley Redwood, they were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delicious lunch, followed by a guided tour of the village.

St Georges owner Tony Brett Young shared his thoughts on the trip:

"We were certainly impressed with the amount of space at Redwood, especially for leisure activities, and in the grounds.  We were envious of the dedicated arts and craft room and would certainly like to have something similar at St George’s Place.

Our location in the heart of Birmingham sees us blessed with buses, trams and trains, and so many opportunities to attend the theatre, concerts, galleries, and other entertainments and gave us varied shopping opportunities.

We felt the outing was well worthwhile and are keen to visit other Audley villages which are close enough to allow a comfortable day trip."
