The team at Mayfield Watford held a traditional sports day with an Egg & Spoon Race, Bean Bag Toss and even had their General Manager, Nick Vincent, in the stocks for wet sponge throwing! Sales Consultant Oliver told The Audley Foundation
“We wanted to try something different for foundation week this year, something to really to get our owners involved and the sports day was a great choice. The owners loved it and it really brought out their competitive side! We started the day with 4 owners on each team and ended the day with closer to 15! It’s a wonderful thing to be able to raise money for such a good cause, especially when we get out owners involved in the process.”
At Audley St Elphins Park, two members of staff raised funds by cutting off their hair. Remarkable!
The team at Audley Chalfont Dene sold luxury items and dressed up for a fancy dress car wash, as did the team at Audley Binswood.
Property owners at Audley Inglewood opted for a more civilised affair - Cream tea with a personalised ‘Audley’ cake.
The week finished with all the villages participating in the ‘Audley Cycle’, cycling on a stationary bike to complete the 650-mile journey cross country from Audley Clevedon to Audley Stanbridge Earls. Ann, from Audley Sunningdale Park contributed an outstanding 99.5 miles to the challenge! Well Done Ann!
A big thank you to all Audley Group owners and team members who took part. The funds raised will be donated to charities that support older people who are lonely and/or in need of support, carefully selected by homeowners at Audley and Mayfield villages.
